Thank you for having me in your group!  I just started the Brinsupri today. Have any of you started or used this new drug for Bronchiactasis?

Rhetta,
Hello! Welcome to the community! I hope that Brinsupri really helps you. I am sure that your health care provider informed you that it takes awhile to be effective,@ approximately 6 weeks. I am not taking Brinsupri at present. I hope that other members who are taking Brinsupri chime in.

I hope it works for you. Not an easy pill to swallow at $14,000/month in the US!

My husband started it about 6 weeks ago. Can't really see any effect. He still has to use steroids for the inflamation and it changes everyday.

RSG2,Hello! I hope that he still gets to see results. Not every patient follows the same timeframes. Can you identify any variables, since you say it keeps changing every day? Weather, environmental conditions? Please keep us posted.

I take that back. after talking with him . He says it's helping because he's using less steroids.

Less steroids is great news! I hope that Brinsupri continues to kick in.

It will take up to 16 weeks to see results. The drug has to go through the bone marrow. https://players.brightcove.net/3714047748001/experience_6945467ef0c5460d84c02dbd/share.html
