Indigoblue Check-In 12/14/2025
I am extremely fatigued a week in on IV antibiotics. I feel much better in terms of my infection but I can’t believe how tired I am. Have others had this experience? I feel like I could sleep all day and all night! My assumption is it is related to my body fighting the infection and not the medication itself.

Hello! I am glad you are feeling better but I am sorry that you are dealing with great fatigue.
What type of infection do you have? What antibiotics are you taking?
Some patients do experience fatigue from antibiotics, the infection and or inflammation in your respiratory system.
It is important to drink plenty of fluids, especially earlier in the day .
Try to prioritize your tasks, use energy management in the meantime. Katie
